I'll believe this after the 1st round ends.

I wonder where this leaves Williams now.

I'm thinking high risk/low reward for Pavlik.

Can't believe we're still on this "Who Ducked Who" Williams and Pavlik kick. Oi.

Anyways I wouldn't be surprised if Williams took on Alfredo Angulo OR Kermit Cintron.

KP via KO in the late rounds.

After the PW fight, it is a decent scalp for Pavlik, considering the state of the division, especially if it helps set up a PW or Felix Sturm fight.

Goosen won't let Pavlik anywhere near Williams. Sturm is walking around at 193 pounds, and just signed a 10 fight deal with a German TV station. Mundine? Never gonna happen.

Macklin has a title eliminator with Pirog comng up. Winky is irrelevant at this point, plus Karmazin bumped him out of the Ring top 10.

Unless KP wanted to fight someone like David Lopez or Khoren Gevor, there is no one else available for a spring fight. Staying out any longer than April would be a bad idea.

Sure, but I think he'll struggle to look good, and if he wins he just cherry-picked a Light Middleweight.

And I don't see how it sets up anything big in the future.

And it worries me that the big money is what KP seems to be looking for.

I would rather see Pavlik/Williams. Pavlik will win this fight by knockout.

I'm sure Arum is chomping at the bit to set that fight up as well :blood

Anywho this is a great fight if it ever gets off the ground. Still wouldn't surprise if John Duddy is the guy come April.

holy **** your right... at middleweight, nobody has ever gotten past the 9th round with Pavlik....

I am kinda so so on this fight, i feel middleweight isnt where martinez should be fighting, and i feel he might end up getting put out violently in this fight, against a guy he shouldnt even be fighting, but at the same time, its a chance to become THE middleweight champion of the world, and i realise you dont pass that up..... It will be a shame though if Martinez gets brutalised in this fight, but hey, i guess this is his shot.
