His style of fighting face first cost him. First there was Mayweather not turing up for training and now apparently he over trained Hatton? I like Ricky but some of the **** he comes out with is just delusional.

He's one of the best British boxers of the last decade.

If you think British boxing sucks - well you are entitled to your opinion.

I'm looking forward to seeing him getting starched again.

Sick of hearing excuses from Ricky. There is no shame in losing to fighters like Floyd,he should just admitt he got beat by a better fighter.

Hatton got beat by the better fighter in Pacquiao for sure.... but his performance before that against Malignaggi was the best I've seen him since his win over Tszyu. The camp he had for the Pacquiao fight had to be the reason he got blown away the way that he did. I don't think Hatton would of won anyway, but it's the manner of the way he lost that just don't sit well with me.

I mean, I know he can be wild but ****! he just came in there throwing lead left hooks hoping for the best, it's so obvious that he was just in there looking for a lucky punch rather than using the plan I know he would of had with Beard and Mayweather. It's just that Hatton showed too much respect for Mayweather as a coach.... and although the man has a very good tactical brain for boxing he has NO rapport or even care about his fighters at all!

I'm one of the few that is glad Hatton is coming back. Good luck to him, although I still think if he fought Khan he would get beat but that's up to him tp find out.

'Peaking early in a camp' looks a **** poor excuse for a two round fight, IMHO. If it was an arduous UD he lost, then at least that excuse would hold some water, but that didn't happen. Hatton has also said he was 'winning the second round by a country mile' before the KO; in that case, was the training camp scenario not in play during that round if he was so dominant before the KO? Also, he sang Mayweather Sr's praises during the lead-up to the Malignaggi fight and turned in his best performance for years in that fight, so what has changed since then?

It's a daft excuse. Either way, there is absolutely no shame in losing to Pacquiao.

Hatton should of known better, he's been doing it long enough to know when to dull his training down in the build up to a big fight but if if I was him I'd want some closure.

I also think there IS alot of shame in being beat by anyone in that matter.... especially infront of millions of people watching across the globe!

So in the last three weeks he was a shell?

He didn't look overtrained when a week before the fight he urged people to put their mortages on Hatton victory.

Of course, fighters say things like that all time, but I remember the way Ricky delivered it - full of conviction and confidence. A little bit like last night when he said he was gonna 'prove everybody wrong'. Bullshine.
