This has to be one of my fave fights in a while. No knockdowns but excellent punching and skills being showcased by both. Cotto suprised alotta heads by applying the jab more and more. great fight. btw I had cotto 7 rounds to Mosley 5. What do you guys think

It was a good fight. I had Cotto ahead 115-113. I never re-scored it though and I suppose I should, as I was kind of drunk when I watched it.

Cotto outboxing Mosley didn't really surprise me like it did others. Mosley's more of a slugger/brawler than a tactical boxer anyway. Mosley did better than I thought. He landed a good number of looping overhand rights, and also did some nice body work in the latter rounds. I didn't expect the fight to be as close as it was.

Excellent fight. Both guys dished some serious punishment. I've watched it four times. First time I didn't score, second time I scored for Cotto 115-113, third I scored a draw, forth I scored for Mosley 115-113. Very close fight, last time I watched it I had Mosley winning majority of rounds, and I also gave it to him because he seemed to be imposing his will and he gave me the impression he wanted the win more that Cotto. Cotto was backpedaling for the last three rounds, why? Did he really think he had the fight in the bank?

    6-5-1 Mosley

Always thought Mosley deserved a rematch, especially since it was such a good fight.

Great fight. I never really understood how people scored this fight a draw or a win for Shane Mosley. I am a big Shane Mosley fan (although i am a Cotto fan im a bigger Mosley fan) but to me this fight was clear cut for Cotto. Not saying it wasnt close, because it was but definitely clear cut. 7 rounds to 5 is a good score but 8 to 4 is also acceptable. The cleaner more effective work came from Cotto and as i said i thought he clearly won the fight.

Would still love a rematch to be honest even though everything that has happended to Cotto in the mean time has made many people believe he is diminished, id love to see it.

6-5-1 Cotto, but Mosley had nothing to be ashamed of, he out hustled the younger man. Everyone thought that Mosley was going to get broken down but it was far from it, Shane was the one pushing the fight. I think Mosley wins a rematch, it seemed like he was ready for Cotto to brawl in the first fight and it took him too long to adjust.

115-113 for Cotto. It was an excellent fight. IMO Mosley could have taken him when he was in his prime.

Excellent, excellent fight and a showcase of IMO what great boxing is all about in some cases.... i could watch this any day of the week. Cotto at his best against the great Sugar Shane, both putting on good performences..... showcasing punching ability, skills, defence, ect, ect....

Very good fight, and clear win for Cotto IMO :good
