    frank warren ruined calzaghe's earlier career by not getting him the big fights and he would have done the same to khan

    Bit of a ***** move, also it seems he will dump his title to avoid Maidana and fight Malignaggi instead :-(

    There's an article on boxing scene. DiBella says Golden Boy have contacted them about a Khan-Malignaggi fight.

    Golden Boy's offering something no other stable: a CO-PROMOTION deal with the given fighter's own promotional company (Khan Promotions), which is an excellent idea, the fighter feels he's part of negotiations, gets promotional income and has a stronger word at the table unlike anyone at Top Rank or rival promotions. Smart tactic. And nice idea signing Khan, hopefully Warren doesn't come up with some bull****.

    Ishy: Golden Boy is Maidana's US promoter, so Khan's signing hardly rules out that fight, maybe postpones it. Khan just made his mandatory defense.

    good move for khan, over the next two years he can build up his resume against the likes of malignaggi, campbell, judah, juan diaz, guzman and katsidez and then the big fights will be coming.
