People who hate Williams arent true boxing fans.

    How can you hate on a guy who will fight anybody and wants to fight everybody?

    He comes to the ring with a smile on his face because he loves what he does..

    He comes to fight..not box and pot shot..Williams comes to fight.

    He doesnt run in the ring and he doesnt duck anybody.

    He has a good chin, a crowd pleasing style and he never stops throwing punches.

    After the Martinez fight the first thing out his mouth was.......

    "I dont look for easy fights, I look for the hard fights and I'd love to re-match Martinez"

    Most people avoid fighters who cause them match-up problems.....Williams goes TOWARDS those fights..Quitana, Martinez...etc...



    WAR THE PUNISHER!!!!

    Who hates him? He seems to be reasonably well liked here, considering how many fighters have a dedicated group of haters who troll threads endlessly putting them down, I can't say I've noticed it with Williams.

    i only hate that nobody wants to fight him, would love to see pac,floyd,williams and mosley all fight with eachother:)

    Only diehard Pavlik fans seem to hate Williams and only a few of those guys. As far as I've seen.

    The thing with Williams...lol. They say he is overhyped blah blah.. but he still wins though. Against good fighters. Martinez gave him a hell of a fight.. but he still won though. The same Martinez that was considered the top guy at 154. Williams will beat ANYONE at 147 and he goes and beats the top guy at 154. Nobody smaller will go near him and somehow he turns into a hype job. Jermaine Taylor was a hype job. Williams is the direct opposite, he fought through adversity and got the W every time. Do you think other fighters seen the Martinez fight and thought "He is easy to beat" hell no. Martinez hit him with perfect counters and he still could not keep him down or keep him off him. The dude is the ****ing truth.

    I don't hate him but as a boxing fan I don't like when 1 guy has a huge size advantage over the other.

    That's what I don't care for either. A 6'2--6'3 Weighdraining beanpole calling out guys who are 5'7 like Cotto and Pac. Kinda wac to me.

    Hes a top boxer. If you can beat him at the moment it would really mean something. How he can be competitive in 3 or maybe 4 divisions is really amazing, not just competitive but dominant

    He's sloppy and overhyped, but I do enjoy watching him. I think you're confusing hate for his trolls as hate for him.

    There, that's what people hate. He hasn't even been dominant in one division, and there's people saying he can do it 3 or 4. Bogus. PW has never even made a title defense, he would also not be the top guy in any division except 154 which is fairly bare. Even then he needed a fixed judge to get an MD against Martinez.
