MAB. gamboa is not yet proven but he certainly has the potential and skills to trouble barrera. as it is, a prime MAB would beat gamboa at 126 and also the MAB that fought JMM at 130.

Gamboas still a question mark and he's been knocked down by B minus to C level guys so gotta go with the proven great Barrerra over the more athletic and quicker Gamboa

Great matchup for a second. MAB figures him out and catches him inside three rounds, multiple knockdowns then a stoppage.

See? This is the kind of **** that irritates me. People posting as if they're the wise old owl around here when they have absolutely no clue what they're talking about. Gamboa gets floored in damn near every fight he's in. You almost can't find a fighter so bad that he won't knock Gamboa down at some point. Just stfu.

what makes you think you're right fool. Gamboa maybe the underdog, but he has a chance to win here. Barrera won't ko him in this fight, as a matter of fact, Barrera has gone the distance in 10-12 rounds against the top rank....Marquez, Pacquiao, Morales, Tapia, Ayala, Juarez, Hamed....

Barrera has power in both hands, but he seems reluctant to finish off top rank opponents in early-to-mid rounds. More likely, Barrera would school Gamboa in 10-12 round. As skillfull as Barrera, he seems to be hittable by his opponent and I'm sure Gamboa will be able to throw some hard shots in several rounds effectively enough to produce a knockdown, but not enough to win the fight probably.

Barrera would look good in this fight in particular, although the fight can be a lot closer than what fans in here are saying.

well... since you didn't know Gamboa had ever been knocked down, even though it happens in every single fight he's in, it's not really a surprise that you don't know that MAB was a vicious, vicious killing machine before he turned into a boxer in his older years, and that if you were hurt against him he would go off on you like a schitzophrenic denied his meds for too long.

Gamboa looks pretty good. He makes for exciting fights because he never stops punching and he's pretty easy to hit himself, he'll give some good fighters a few anxious moments. He looks NOTHING like a young MAB, or even a MAB in his first few years at FW. Not in the same class, not even close.

It's like this: Gamboa can't stay on his feet and he isn't going to knock Barerra out. The fight goes to the cards in a fight in which Gamboa is down twice and as such loses a lopsided decision, despite having his moments.

I have no clue how Gamboa plans to win fights at the elite level if he can't stop getting knocked down in every other ****ing fight. That adds up on the cards.

Barrera would stop Gamboa in 8 rounds. Gamboa would do well early but Barrera would Drop and hurt Gamboa around the 7th but he gets saved by bell and Barrera fhim inishes him the next round.
