WBA calls purse bids for Khan-Maidana

Surely after all this talk of being a 'champion' and all the improvements Amir has apparently made, plus the fact GoldenBoy are Maidana's promoters it would be ridiculous for him to give up the belt.

 

I am hearing Khan does not want to give up the belt and Golden boy will make Maidana wait for Khan after his debut vs Paulie. Lets see what happens.

Guys any news on what happened at the purse bids which should of been held today?

Did they even take place as now Warren is not even Khan's promoter? and that Maidana and Khan are both co under GBP?
