Okay, so Pacquiao vs Mayweather is the fight everyone wanted to see. That fight went up in smoke, breaking the hearts of boxing fans worldwide... ...so, now that Berto pulled out, how about Pacquiao-Clottey and Mayweather-Mosley on the same card? **** them fighting on the same night, in different venues, on different networks. They should do what Hopkins and De La Hoya did - FIGHT ON THE SAME CARD, then get it on later in the year with each other - IF they both win, that is. But as much as I'd like to see this happen, I think Mayweather and Pacquiao would be in against some risky opponents, which could cause this all to backfire. But, if they both win, just imagine how much bigger Pacquiao-Mayweather would be than if they had fought on March 13th. But let's think about who we're dealing with here...remember the egos. Knowing them, they'd argue non-stop about who gets the main event. That little issue right there is the main reason this may all be a fantasy for me.
Cmon, think about it for a second. Great for us? Definitely. Great for them? Definitely not. How would you split the money between those four fighters? Also when you consider that the Vegas Casino's pay site fees for a big event. They'd probably make more money having two events then having one.
You make a point, but Mosley and Clottey aren't in the position to complain about how much they make...
I dont know abot clottey who use to be with Showtime but Mayweather,Mosley and Pacquiao are all on HBO network so it cant be on another network.
Arum & GBP could never agree on the terms. IMO it would be a great idea, b/c It would generate a lot of PPv buys.
