HBO has already committed to the Pac fight on March 13 and to the dreadful Popkins vs Jones on April 3.May 1st is the next available PPV date that HBO has.:deal
Noble reasons or not, boxing has to get its act together before MMA swallows our sport up. Floyd v pac off, Berto v Shane off, boxing is in big danger here of disappearing up its own arse, too many egos, too many belts, too many fans just accepting whatever they are told. Just seen a clip for the Simpsons new series, & they have Homers wife fighting in the octagon... MMA is mainstream now, & boxing continues to **** the fans around... 2010 has started off very badly if you ask me as far as boxings long term future is concerned.
Mayweather-Moseley on 01.05 would do abit to salvage the reputation of the sport. Im not too worried about MMA, fair enough its got alot of fans now, but really boxing always has been, and always will be #1 out of the 2.
Is Marquez not due to fight on this date in Vegas? No doubt that'll be a PPV, they should bump that fight in with Mosley Mayweather and have a boxing extravaganza.
