WBA confirms Amir Khan v Marcos Maidana is on

so many ppl have egg on their faces!

 

i really do not agree. pretty much everyone said "IF" khan does not meet Maidana is his next two fights he is ducking.

 

A lot of people immediately assumed he was ducking though.

Glad to see him take this fight.

according to boxing scene GBP want to move Hopkins vs Roy Jones Jnr to April 3rd. This is the same date as the proposed Haye vs Ruiz fight at the 02. They will then either move Khan vs Maidana forward, or move it back to the May 1st date which would be on the same card as JM Maquez vs Katsidis and Mayweather Mosley.

Either way we are going to be getting a bumper PPV card.

 

It will be a right card if the Amir Khan fight is on the same card as the David Haye fight.

 

wont be the same venue. Haye would be in UK, Khan in USA.

 

Well even if they are in different countries, its going to be one hell of a Sky Box Office bill, well worth 15 quid.

 

this is great news.

khan can finally put some critics to sleep if he can get past a big hitter like maidana.

and he should fight in england one last time before he goes to usa to try and unify the division

Nah he is a guy who loses often and never looks good. He beat a joke hype fighter and suddenly and his a top 5 fighter. Khan spanks him.

 

If Maidana lands as ive said a million times he will stretch Khan, if Khan doesnt get hit on the chin he walks it.
