Who would you put your faith in to beat Floyd....

    With the recent turn of events (Berto pulling out), the demand for a Mayweather vs Mosley fight has intensified considerably. In addition, the likely bout of Mayweather vs Pacquiao in late 2010, means we may get the chance to see Floyd fight two elite fighters this year.

    The question I'd like to ask you, is out of Pacquiao and Mosley, who would you put your faith in to hand Floyd his first ever loss?

    I personally would go for Mosley. Being a well sized Welterweight, with lightning hand speed and exceptional power to match, I think he holds the attributes give to Floyd problems more than Pac will. Furthermore, one of the tools needed to beat Floyd, is a perfect game plan....enter Brother Nazim Richardson! Of course I'm not disregarding Roach's ability to conjure up efficient tactics, but I'd personally love to see how a boxing scholar like Nazim would solve the Mayweather puzzle.

    So yeah, I'mma bank on Mosley giving Mayweather more problems than Pac ever will. What do you fellas think?

    I think Pac's speed, southpaw stance and movement would give Floyd fits for four to five rounds. By the time Floyd figures Pac out, will he have taken the sort of punishment that makes him cautious? I think Floyd would be trying to get a close decision win, and could easily drop a decision due to his negative style.

    Mosley is big, tough and fast. He can punch harder than Pac and, under Naziim, he was throwing combinations again. If Floyd's against the ropes, he's fast enough that Floyd won't be able to counter punch the same way. Shane's chin is so sturdy that there's next to no way Floyd is wobbling him.

    Both have different advantages, but I'd pick Pac as more likely to beat Floyd.

    Right now, I think Pacquiao has the best chance of beating Floyd. His speed, power, work-rate and southpaw stance can all give Floyd trouble.

    If I had to bet my life on it, I'd pick Floyd over Pac, Shane and Williams - but I think Pac has a realistic chance of winning.

    I pick Pacquiao over Mosley. He's a lot faster and is the best guy to disrupt Mayweather's gameplan. Mosley will fight right into it, I feel.

    I voted for Mosley, but now that I'm thinking about it, I bet Pacquiao has the best chance. He's a bit faster and a southpaw, that will really give Floyd some troubles, whereas Shane might be the bigger guy, but Mayweather won't get hit by him as much.
