Day after day posters have to read the same old pathetic posts from the same ole posters...who love their hero --- I love ---, Floyd is evil lol... bottom line Floyd vs Mosley is #2 vs #3. Pac is #1 and he's fighting Clottey who is either #4 or #5.

so you can moan on about heros all you want but that doesn't change anything. Even the GBP ring magazine has Pac at #1 which means that Floyd vs Mosley will not even be for the Ring WW title, let alone the undisputed championship.

Yeah, can't wait for this one and I can see excuses flying around already about Mosley being far too old and should be going in on a wheel-chair. If he fought Pacquiao instead we have read the excuses too, Pacquiao is microscopic sized.

Mosley is not prime but he's not a terrible opponent either. Last I remember he was supposed to be a certain "tune-up"(Yeah, it was THAT insulting) to a tomato can fraud one dimensional heavy bag Margarito who many considered an old school legacy and pride over money terminator of Tijuana.

 

It's not the way it is, that's nonsense man. Cotto beat Mosley to secure the #1 spot at welterweight, people questioned that so they made Margarito vs Cotto for the lineal title at welterweight, Margarito cheated and won that title then Mosley fought him and knocked his ass out.

Pacquiao fought DLH and Cotto. How can that make him the #1 welterweight? :huh, Mosley is the official #1 welterweight and nothing changes that. Facts are facts. Just like Baldomir became the lineal champion when he beat the unified champion Judah, that's how it goes. The lineal title was vacant when Mayweather retired so Mosley, Cotto and Margarito had to fight for it themselves, only one to give P.Williams a shot was Margarito. Pacquiao is lineal at 140, not 147.

Here are the reasons why this is a gigantic fight.

*It is between 2 Future Hall of Famers
*Both beat De La Hoya. Mosley clearly in 2000 and Mayweather clearly in 2007.(Mosley's win in is 2003 is a win, but debatable)
*Both are former Number 1 Pound for Pound fighters. Some say Mayweather is still the best.
*Both are currently ranked in the top 3 or 4 Pound for Pound in the Sport.
*This fight has been one of the most anticapated since 1999 when both were young dominant champions.
*Stylistically it is Floyds most challenging fight on paper.

Boxing rarely has fights between 2 top current 5 pound for pound entrants. I can only think of a handful over the last 10 years. Marquez-Pacquiao II comes to mind, Mosley-De La Hoya I. There are a few I may have missed.

I mean what more could we ask for. I hope it happens. If Pacquiao-Mayweather is the best fight, number 1. This is definitely a 1A fight. It has the makings of a classic. Get it done!!

Lineal or whatever you want to call it. Cotto vs Margarito was OFFICIALLY for the #1 spot, Margarito won it then lost to Mosley. Everyone knows officially Mosley is the #1 Welterweight. Now against Mayweather I wouldn't be surprised if the RING step in and add the lineal title on the line seeing that Mayweather was the top guy in the division when he retired.

 

As much as I want that to be true, I just don't see it happening that way. Mayweather W 12 is my guess. I hope Shane is at his best and the lay off doesn't effect him too much.
