    Chartchai Saskatul was uneaten champion when Manny beat him. When Manny fight Barrera the odds against him 4 to 1. Ricky Hatton was suposed to be best in his weight class. Now Cotto and Joshua Clotty two of the best welterweights.

    Nice one.:lol::lol::lol:

    To answer your question, I think it's extremely overrated by his fans, and the mainstream media and unfairly dismissed by his detractors.

    I don;t think the Oscar win means a damn thing. Hatton was a big event, but Hatton ain't really ****. But a good win on the resume nonetheless. Cotto was a decent win, but I have doubts about him.

    When he gets beat to sleep by Clottey it won't even matter.

    This is how I see things. These are his best wins in order.

    1. Marco Antonio Barrera
    2. Miguel Cotto
    3. Juan Manuel Marquez II
    4. Ricky Hatton
    5. Erik Morales II

    Oscar De La Hoya - We don't need to have a debate, Oscar actually weighed 147 on fight night. Are you serious? ...Everything that happened was contrary to the Oscar we'd seen before, and he's been in with the best fighters of the last 15 years. He was worse than shot that night.

    Erik Morales II and III - I give Manny some credit because Morales turned in a good performance in the return bout. But some people act like the Raheem fight never happened, and that Morales was clearly on the slide. He beat a past prime Morales, it's not a GREAT win in my judgment. Let's not talk about the third one.

    I also felt he lost both Marquez fights, and you could call that me being bias, but how is it that a very large quantity of spectators agree? It's because the fights could have gone either way. If your one of those people who rank fighters based on your own scoring, like Popkins, Manny's resume takes a huge dive for me.

    Still an unbelievable good resume but...let's not pretend that Manny beat all of those guys at the top of their game.

    Let's re-cap...

    First man to stop Morales. Twice. Stopped a prime Barrera, then beat him again. A Former Flyweight moves up to 147 beats De La Hoya - a guy who has fought at MW - then Cotto - who had a strong case to be the #1 WW at the time. Wipes the linear, legit LWW champ out inside of two rounds. Beats Marquez, as well as about half a dozen other world title holders.

    So yes. Pacquaio's resume is absolutely top notch, and every bit as good as it sounds.

    His resume is very good, but it is over-rated by his fans who try to make it seem more legendary than it really is.
