Floyd will get credit, but not as much as if were to fight and beat Pac. Shane is going to be 39. In boxing, that's like 60 in dog yrs. This fight should have happened 5yrs ago. Nonetheless, i'd be happy to see it go down. Shane still has some gas left in the tank. He seems hungry and ferocious right now.

If you dont think floyd got enough credit for the Hatton blame his own fans. Anyone who admitted they thought Hatton had a chance was laughed at, like it was soooo obvious Floyd would win

Floyd fans talked nonstop about how limited Hatton was leading up to the fight, and at the same time expect him to get so much credit for that win. Its so moronic

    :yep:yep:yep

They did the same with Pac saying he was stopped by Singsurat and Torrecampo, hes one dimensional, hes rubbish etc but then they expect people to give fraud credit if he wins.

****in idiots do this ALL the time...to pretty much every potential Floyd opponent. They break them down so much then expect Floytd to get BOAT LOADS of cred for a fight they usually say "Easy win for PBF" :patsch

How stupid can one group be?

Actually, no, it's just expecting people to have some integrity. If I think that Hatton is overrated fighter, then it makes sense for me to not think that Floyd beating him is that much of an accomplishment.

But if someone argues again and again that Hatton will destroy Floyd (as many people on this forum did) then if they have any integrity they will give Floyd credit for beating someone that they consider to be a good fighter. If they don't, and instead resort to revisionism (as many people on this forum did) then they are both inconsistent and dishonest.

So no, it's not "moronic", as you say, to expect people to stand by what they say instead of moving the goalposts every time that Floyd wins. But your facile comments certainly are.

Don't kid yourself, Dom...this is the fight Golden Boy has wanted the entire time...I wouldn't doubt it if GBP gave Berto some step aside money, and in lieu of Berto's unfortunate situation concerning his family, he probably thought it to be a pretty good idea.

This will be an easy fight for Floyd...styles make fights.

Mosley has never been an effctive aggressor...if mosley couldn't cut off the ring effectively against Cotto, i doubt he will have much luck against Mayweather.

    Easy UD for Mayweather.

If he does fight Shane then I'll be back on the Money May train. Till then I am tired of him wasting his talent. I hope he does.

Floyd wont make that much less money. This will do 1.5-2mil ppv buys, its a superfight...and Floyd gets to keep the lion share of the purse instead of settling for 50/50.

Yeah Golden Boy wants the fight, no ****. Does Jr. want the fight is the question. I think Floyd will beat Mosley but Shane is his most dangerous opponent yet. I would watch that over Pac/Clottey anyday. They should just make it on March 13 if they want to rub in Pac and Co. faces.

It won't be anywhere near as close as what he would make against Manny. Nowhere near as close. It will be big though and I can see Floyd getting one up on Manny big time if he fights Shane.
