the only question i want to know is "how did woods not get disqualified against oganov?"
that fight was ****in disgraceful. woods kept going in for rugby tackles. wtf!

 

im pretty sure the result isnt in doubt but the big question is can mundine stop a bloke whos had 8 or so fights? will this fight go the distance?

Wood 29 rounds.

= another stern challenge for the Pioneer!

 

Does anybody really believe this fight will go ahead.

It seems so implausable as to make a mockery of where The Pioneer should really be in his career.

 

Would you have been happy for Mundine to fight Victor or Kariz?

 

Woods struggled to make 7rds against Kariz, not his fault but just doesn't have the experience and fitness to go 12rds with a world class fighter like Mundine.

I suspect Mandy will stop him before it get's to rd 8.

 

I'm not saying Woods isn't fit, i'm saying he's not ring fit.

Towards the end of Kariz fight he was doing a lot of holding suggesting he was out on his feet, he did a good job but Mundine's got too much ability to let Woods do the same thing.

Don't get me wrong Woods has done great and i bet he's super fit but only having 8 fights and then facing Mundine is a pretty big ask.

 

Although Wood did have that broken finger/hand thing affecting him after round 2, he was extreemly dominant in the first two rounds. Im sure he will be ready for his next fight and will give Mundine a good run if not even win.

 

No niether, although both have worthy credentials.

This is why the whole Contender outcome (or any other outcome) has been a farce.
How was it possible that Garth Wood, Hamden and a couple of other locals were even picked for this series if it was ever really to be taken seriously (fighting The Pioneer) given the Pioneers continual rantings about big fights and international titles.
