    Exactly this.

    It has nothing to do with race (he isn't even 'Middle Eastern', as he's a Pakistani), but it's the arrogance and stupidity that he's shown that grates with a lot of people, especially in the UK.

    I remember once reading or hearing him say that he was comparable to the likes of Pacquaio and other champions, and was ready to go - this was before the Prescott fight. So you can see how he isn't well liked. And that's just one example.

    If he dodges a fighter people will talk **** about him. If he gets ktfo he will get haters. If he wins people will say that Maidana was a nobody. You just can't please everyone.

    Me, as a boxing fan, don't care who wins or loses I just want to see the best fighters fight each other and not be cherrypicking.

    if I was to say a KO then it would be in the 8th or later...

    I'm not playing down Maidana... I just think Khan has the speed and work to outbox him...
