Yeah, Pac was accussed of a wrong doing by the most credible people in the world so he must be guilty until proven innocent! :patsch Pac maybe the best fighter of this generation but to say that he is the best all around fighter since Sugar Ray Leonard is an entirely different matter.:nono

I don't rate Pacquiao very highly in an all-time sense, particularly compared to the likes of RJJ and Mayweather.

He has a couple of solid wins at Welterweight, but Mosley is the top dog at that weight and Pacquiao has avoided him at all costs.

At lightweight Pacquiao also avoided the best fighters in the division.

At 130lbs in my eyes, and the eyes of most reasonable boxing critics, Pacquiao lost twice to the best fighter in that division (Marquez)

Mayweather took on and defeated the top ranked lightweight (Castillo), the top ranked Welterweight (Baldomir) and has better depth of victories across every weight.

Not to mention Pacquiao has two stoppage losses, and serious suspiscion over drug use to enhance his performance.

Pacquiao should not crack any top50 list, period.

Clottey, who was far too much of a challenge for PBF to ever look up? Clottey who went tooth and nail with Cotto and Margarito? THAT Clottey? Because you sound like you're talking about some OTHER Clottey.

Clottey is a bum according to these guys. You're not winning any battles here.

Man why don't you get half a clue? As if it's not totally ****ing obvious you have some kind of hate on for Pacquiao.

He comes to the WW division, fights the top dog right off the bat in Cotto. How long has PBF been a WW and how many top welterweights has he fought? At LW while avoiding the best competition, Manny somehow managed to fight EM 3x, MAB 1x and JMM 2x. Then he stops at 135 to pick up a belt from Diaz, goes to 140 and fights top dog Hatton, goes to WW and fights top dog Cotto.

Seriously, it's ****ing disgusting how hard you guys have to work to hate on a fighter. A REAL fighter. Yeah... PBF's shining victory over Baldo is SO much better than a win over Cotto. Do you even ****ing know who these people ARE that you're talking about? Goddam I'm not sure I've EVER seen so much ****** in one post.

I am an admitted huge Pac fan but also a BIG fan of many fighters and that includes Floyd whom I really like to watch fight. Before being a fan of PAcquiao i was a fan of Barrera, Hopkins, Mosley and others. Now I speak my mind on Pac's greatness and am branded a ******* for it. **** that ****!

You have a good point, but don't go overboard...

Cotto was not the top Welterweight. At the time, Shane was cosidered by most as the top Welter. And Cotto had just gone tooth and nail with Clottey, who a lot of people felt like won the fight.

Pac is regarded so higly as of late in the mainstream because of his last three wins. But seriously, those last three wins aren't enough to declare him better than RJJ, Mike Tyson, BHop, DLH, guys like that...

Who is Hatton? He doesn;t do much for Pac or Floyd's resume in my opinion. Cotto is a good win, but not a legend-maker. And we won;t talk about Oscar.

Pac isn't automatically the greatest just because everyone likes him. He has to earn that. And so far he hasn't.

Cotto most definitely WAS the top WW. He BEAT Mosely, he BEAT Clottey. The fights were close, but that's what happens when you face top fighters like Mosely and Clottey. You don't blow out great fighters like that, if you get the W you consider it a monumental achievement and you move on. Yes, he lost to Margarito, but that's a seriously tainted loss. You CANNOT say Cotto isn't the top WW, unless you're trying to say that Margarito is because that's the only guy Cotto lost to.

Pac HAS earned his accolades, and then some. And he did it against some ATG fighters. Sad for you that you can't enjoy the man while he's here.

Unlike a lot of people, I'm a boxing fan first and a nuthugger second. If Pac hasn't proven something to you by now, then you're either not paying attention or you're homoerotically and pathetically a Floyd fanboy.
