duran couldn't stop kirkland laing how is he going to stop the greates defensive fighter of our era:deal

duran didn't do **** at 147 except get a biased decision against ray and then quit in the rematch..I have never seen floyd give up in the ring even when he had broken hnads and ribs:deal

floyd UD easily 9-3 or 8-4:deal

At 135 I go with Duran by clear UD or late round stoppage. At 147 I'm just not sure, Duran is still the stronger of the 2 but Floyd has the slight speed advantage and is more precise with his punches and defense. I think going up to 147 gives more of an edge to Floyd then Duran but its still hard to say. I dont know who I would go with at 147 lbs. I wouldnt be surprised if Floyd out boxes him and stays away like Leonard but I wouldnt be shocked if Duran catches him enough to win or even KO Floyd.

I think Floyd wins a split decision. Duran did not do well fighting this style, which he rarely fought a good boxer. When he did he lost Benitez,Leonard,Hearns.

Duran quit every time his opponent used footwork, therefore Floyd by first round TKO due to another Duran quit-job. As soon as Floyd started using lateral movement Duran would be without any idea of what to do, as was proved every time he ever fought anyone that ever moved around the ring at all. Duran only ever fought during special rules matches that encased both he and his opponents feet in a solid mound of concrete, therefore he doesn't qualify for this matchup.

Duran was nothing but a quitter. He dominated a crappy Lightweight division and even managed to lose to the crappy Esteban De Jesus, who also made him quit during Duran's best ever effort. He only turned the trick in a rematch when De Jesus was completely shot and on his deathbed. If you'll look closely, you'll see they wheeled De Jesus in on a stretcher and merely flailed him at Duran for the duration of the rematches.

When he fought Leonard, Leonard was a completely green novice with no experience at all in boxing, and Duran only managed the win because he got in Leonard's head, causing him to not move an inch or throw a single punch for the entire fight. Even then he was robbed blind of the decision.

After that fight, when Duran was at the absolute peak of his powers and in the best shape he'd ever been, Leonard decided to move around in the rematch, and again Duran quit. This marked the 38th time an opponent had moved in the ring against Duran, and every time it yielded the same result. Those results have since been stricken from the Boxrec records to protect his reputation.

After that fight, Duran, with the heart two sizes too small, never even competed competitively with decent opposition again. Not that he ever did. Cuevas was shot, Barkley was robbed blind, and Moore was fouled out of there when Duran was again on the verge of quitting. This all during Duran's prime.

    What a hack Duran was.

The Duran that beat Leonard would win a bit more decisively than by a SD, FM would be lucky to hear the final bell in a 15 rder.

At LW, I'd say Duran by clear decision.

At 147, I think it's closer. Floyd has the defensive abilities to pull out an upset, but if Duran is aggressive and focused enough, he can force Mayweather to trade with him and take him out of his comfort zone. If this is the case, I say Duran takes a narrow points win.
