People questioned why didn't clottey do enough to beat cotto and you can say the same about mosley, but i think clottey landed alot cleaner punches than mosley on cotto. In the cotto fight mosley was getting hit with some real clean shots that would snap his head back and make him look chinese, the only real clean punch that cotto landed on clottey was that jab that caught clottey off balance.

Take nothing away from mosley, but by the time him and mayweather fight it will be 1 year and 4 months of inactivity for him and at age 38 do you think he can keep up with mayweather.I'm glad they're fighting, but mosley's inactivity i think will play a huge role in the fight, but then again mosley might turn back the clock on father time once again.

Clottey vs pacquiao will be the fight, because they're both in their prime and this will actually be pacquiao's first real test against a natural welterweight. It will be interesting to see how pacquiao reacts to a guy that will walk him down along with taking his punches and smiling, cotto ran in the clottey fight, but pacquiao will try to prove his manhood and that's where clottey will open and counter.

Mosley vs Mayweather will be a very technical fight where both guys wont be that active, because they both guy's will play it safe, regardless of all this trash talk.

Clottey vs pacquiao may not be as big as the mayweather vs mosley fight, but i bet any amount of money that it will be a better fight and that's what the true boxing fan wants.

My predictions on both fights are

    Joshua Clottey by split decision

Mayweather/Mosley draw, and i think it will turn into a trilogy.

You do realise Cotto had a huge cut on his eye.

That's why nobody is unbeatable, because there's alway's someone out there that has your number, especially in boxing.

this two fights are incomparable because of styles. Was Cotto cut in the Mosley fight? yes, but it was at the end of round 12.

thats why i always say FIGHTS ARE NEVER WON ON PAPER

on paper kessler was supposed to beat ward
on paper margo was supposed to finish mosley
on paper cotto was supposed to outbox margo
on paper pavlik was supposed to send hopkins to retirement

    but what happened?

thats why we have to see the fights to see what actually happens.

So Cotto wasn't a natural welterweight and in his prime?
