I'll be supporting Khan. I think he is going to outbox Maidana all night, thats if his defense is tight and can avoid the bombs.
I want Khan to win because there is the possibility he may face Malignaggi afterwards. I havn't seen Khan in with a speedy, slippery counter puncher yet. This bout if it comes off in the near future would be very intriguing.

I'm not trying to be rude but i just dont get the want for a Malignaggi fight. Paulie isnt anywhere near as slick as he likes to tell people. Ndou could find him easy and if you take Khans iffy chin out of equation ( which I dont think Paulie could dent ) Amir is streets of Malignaggi , faster , longer reach , more power , more accurate

I honestly think malignaggi is a mismatch

Malignaggi in my eyes is just a move in the right direction. Warren has given him very little experience leading him upto world level. I'd just like to see him in with a good, fast counter pucher. And Malignaggi at the minute is flying high after his win (or two) over Diaz.

He isnt ready for Bradley, so it just seems like a natural progression were he can gain experience.

Maybe but for me , once you've got a belt around your waist that says World Champion then the time for saying " i aint ready for this guy " is, I'm afraid, over.

Khans only weakness is power punchers and malignaggi is famous for having no power at all. All the things Malignaggi does well I think khan does better.

OK if Paulie gets a belt or gets made a mandatory then sure go and take his belt off him or I suppose it would be ok as an easy volountary but to pcik malignaggi over good fights? I dont wanna hear it.

    The Mauler says...

    it worked for Cotto.

Plus Amir is 5 11 and broad shouldered and was fighting at lightweight ??

I'm only 5 10 and have similarly wide shoulders i would have had to cut off a ****in leg to get to down to 135. Khan must have been killing himself

Mallignaggi is a horrible matchup, and really could end up as a stinkfest, but as rightly pointed out above, Khan could learn alot of the skills in this bout he'll need to possibly dethrone a great all round boxer like Tim Bradley.

But first of allhe'l have to guard his whiskers against Maidana, cos he really is the second coming of Ricardo Torres, while Torres is still about lol.

I'm saying it might improve his chin, I've seen it with some fighters who have moved up weight & their chin has held up better then their previous division, I'm not saying it's 100% going to improve Khan's chin but there could be a possibility.

Which is why this is such a good fight , We know Khan can do pretty much everthing else , he needs to prove ( or learn ) that he can take the shots or that he can avoid them
