Which heavyweight bout are you most excited about?

That is fair enough, but the fact is that apart from Haye (Who either brother would beat comfortably) just who is at HW at present that can even give Vitali/Wlad an uncomfortable nights work?

The fact that we are discussing novices as possible contenders is indicative of the poor state of the HW division but I for one would like to see someone (anyone) come along who most fans believe is a threat to either Klitschko and whilst it is probable that neither of the aforementioned "Novices" will turn out to be good enough to get us "Revved up" about them fighting Vitali or Wlad, we are in desperate need of a fighter who we do consider a threat to either/both Klitschkos!!

 

:good Excellent analysis of both fighters. And I agree that should they win they should "Get some rounds in the bank" as it were, but if/when they win I suppose that they could be in a "catch22" situation, regarding future opponents.

It is all speculation (I mean they haven't even won their upcoming fights!!) but Cachibatches mate, were they to win their bouts (and impressively so), who would you consider decent future opponents for both guys, at this stage of their careers?

 

When is Brewster fighting in Germany? And do you know if it's going to be televised in the US?

4fun mate, i'm sure the op does not have these on his "Top list" but as you rightly stated we do need new faces in the HW division.

I totally agree with your comments regarding Peter and Brewster, but that is the beauty of Helenius and Puleev!! They have yet to be "Exposed" or dismissed so their fights are of some interest, even at this embryonic stage of their career.

We have been assured of the "Second coming" of David Tua for what seems like a generation, Povetkin is a good fighter, but he will fall short, as will David Haye (Though I hope I am wrong about that!!). Solis could prove interesting, but I have my doubts, Chambers is an excellent fighter but imo he will be comfortably beaten by Wlad. so in 12 months time Helenius and Puleev may very well be looked upon as possible future challengers. That must make any fight that they are in of some interest, until they are "Exposed" at the very least.

Havent seen this Helanius fella yet but he could be an interesting propect. Especially if he can beat an old pro like brewster.

Im obviously more looking forward to the Botha V Holyfield fight!

 

Mind you it may not be the most exciting fight.
