exactly I think Mayweather is thinking to himself, ****, Mosley is way too dangerous and my ego cannot deal with a loss or a KO or getting hurt in there give me the lower money vs Mathew Hatton and let Ellerbe and Haymon spin it the problem is that Golden Boy may attack him now, maybe, or maybe they will get Mosley to go along with it somehow but I doubt it
One good thing of the Pacquiao-Floyd fallout is that the current top 4 welterweights fight each other (granting Floyd is brave enough to face Mosley). Then the winner of Pacquiao-Clottey will face the winner of Mosley-Floyd which I think will be Pacquiao vs. Mosley.
The fight will happen as long as Moseley agrees to Floyd's demand. The only thing to worry is for Floyd to concoct another out of the norm demand to make Moseley at a disadvantage physically or mentally. Another angle to look at why this fight will materialize is that the Moseley-Berto fight got cancelled totally instead of postponing it.
why lame...you are just speaking opinion...you don't think it will happen, i do...it's all conjecture
well i will leave the back and forth on this topic to those that are more familiar with the who said what said when but you just take a step back and see he never made all of these big fights and there were moments where cotto, dlh rematch, margo, pac and mosley all wanted him and he didn't do it, and he retired twice which can be viewed as ducks and he wrestled it wasn't like the hatton fight was a farce, even tho he made it at 47 its just you look at the bigger picture and time and time again the guy just doesn't make these huge fights everyone wants to see and does **** like he did vs marquez a 126 guy with late career success at 35 where he is small and forced him to fight at 45 and then doesn't make weight etc or does and changes the weight IMO about the same thing How much revenue has the guy turned down if you add them all up? 200 million? Imagine if he fought and beat Margarito, Clottey, Cintron, Mosley, Williams, Pacquiao, DLH clearly in a rematch and Cotto. Or even took and won six of eight of those fights. He would have become a massive huge star near the scale of DLH where he can dictate terms and percentages. I think its possible that he gave up 200 mill assuming he would have taken the hard road and kicked a lot of ass hell DLH lost fights and had hard fights but still made a mint everything about floyd tells me he won't make this fight big reg what i want from you is to tell me i am wrong andthat floyd will make this fight stick your neck out man what is holding you back? maybe you doubt he makes the fight too?
haha, i know what you mean....you can say the most neutral thing, and 200 people will come from nowhere to attack you like you are stealing their family jewels
stop the hate *****, the fight will be made and floyd will win then you can come up with some other reason to hate:bart
I already have a lifetime ban bet with Bladerunner that this fight will happen. Unless something crazy happens, this fight will go down.
Fraud will find a way to ruin this fight,if he found a way out of a 40 million fight that he said it would be an easy win for him im sure he wont have any problem finding a way out of a fight with the dangerous Mosley that wont get him half of of 40 million.
Floyd is really backed into a corner now....he NEEDS to take this...or face P. Williams. Nothing else works for Floyd. I hope he realizes that. With his history...I'll believe it when I see it.
I think that the fight will happen and that Floyd will win. Also, it will solidify his negotiating power with Pacquiao because Mosely is a much better fighter than Clottey and Mosley will have accepted the random steroid testing. If Pacquiao refuses a second time, it will really damage his image.
the fight happens and floyd wil box him for twelve then hell continue to get bashed "floyd ducked prime mosley" no mosley ducked floyd "floyd just ran and potshot all fight" no he boxed
This is Mayweather's last shot at redemption. I really really hope Mayweather would shock us, and prove to us he is not just about money.
