    And so it begins.

Lets discredit another mayweather opponent. Even when the Pac fight was on some people were saying Mayweather is still picking on little guys.

Mosley is not in his prime but neather is Mayweather. Move on.....

Yeap, I agree that Mosley didn't look at all that great in the last few years. But in boxing you are as good as your last fight, and the last fight was tailor made for Mosley. Personally, I don't suffer from old memories as I missed the Mosley golden era (I've watched the fights much later) and consider him pretty much the weakest of the top 5 ww.

its not a question of giving credit or not, its how much of a credit he would get.

Already lost to Cotto, don't see him faring any better against Clottey, and although I hate to say, he would have close to 0 chance against PW. Mayweather will make him look old...

I'll give him some credit but really; being the former P4P champ and now the #2 P4P; shouldn't he really be fighting the toughest oppositions anyway? Why should I give him a lot of credit when he should be fighting the best welterweights anyway?

...when I see Pac, PW, Cotto, and Clottey in his resume, then I will give him loads of respect and credit.

The subject of this thread is "How much credit will Mayweather deserve when he beats Mosley?". My answer was based on the thread subject i.e. Floyd has already beaten SSM hence already in his resume.

    Clottey and Cotto wtf.

Clottey for all of his ability is not elite as Pac will show and Cotto is damged goods and that is just what people will say if Mayweather beat him.

Clottey doesn't have the power, stamina, footwork or workrate to last 12 rounds against Mosley. I doubt anyone would have beaten Cotto the night he fought Mosley and even so, the fight was very close. Against Paul Williams, I'm not sure - Paul likes to brawl and that's the type of fight Mosley excels in. I agree, Mayweather will outbox Mosley to a UD if they fight...

To say Mosley is the weakest WW is a pretty low blow considering the guy is arguably #1 WW in the world...

    wtf

Weakest of the top 5 WW.

Just two weeks ago this guy was rated the number 1 guy.

No wonder Pac didnt want to fight Mayweather, your reputation gets tarnished before you even lose to him.

You know what there's no point arguing anymore, you just have to laugh.

If mayweather beats mosley and he dont get the respect he deserves from his critics.

Then you know what he should retire with an underfeated record. That will really pissed the haters off:lol:
