Both Clottey and Cotto are going to be tough fights for Floyd. I don't care about the excuses that people will give but I will definitely give credit to Floyd.

Thing is, Floyd seeks money and greatness. He won't get that by retiring; at least for now.

Fought 1st WW bout Nov 05 last fight b4 retirement Dec 07, thats 2 years and he fought Baldomir, Judah, Hatton and moved up to fight DLH since then. Are you guys ****in serious? Who should he have fought? Mosley refused to fight him years ago so who else? Everyone said he ducked every person named up there, then when he fights, and beats, them he still gets called a ducker.

Thats the real question, how much credit should he get for doing something that he shouldve done a long time ago and something hes supposed to do.

    BTW nothing is signed.

guys, of course he is no.1 ww... rated, as he beat the guy (margarito) who beat the guy (Cotto)... still, my personal opinion is that Mosley is past it, a few years already. All last fights (starting even before Vargas) indicate that except the last one. That is MY personal opinion... and not liking it is one thing, but dismissing it without arguments is another. Cheers.

These haters are just angry that they missed fat camp this year.

Floyd will get the credit he deserves when he beats Mosley, he has a lot more fans than haters.

What stands out on Floyd's resume though is not the names of fightersin there but the names that aren't there. His resume would have not been subjected to scrutiny if names such as as SSM, PW, Cotto, Clottey, and even Margo are there. Pac's name is going to be there though; the fight is too big to not happen.

  10. Mosley didn't beat the Margarito that beat Cotto, though. And Cotto beat Mosley.

The funny thing is people will see this and then still say Mayweather ducked Shane. Its a damn shame.

Facts mean nothing to haters of any boxer, whether Mayweather or someone else.

What kind of logic is that? Once May beats Mosley, then Pacman, then he can retire as the best boxer of this generation. But that's still a long way to go.

"Legend" does not happen overnight. If Floyd was in a hurry, he could have done fought them a long time ago
