Floyd is already talked about among the greats. He's fought some of the top fighters and has barely been rocked, let alone knocked down, or beaten, against any of them. People cant say now that the wins against DLH, Baldomir, Judah, etc arent great now after he got dissed for duckin em years ago.

In my book, you need to beat the greats to be considered one of them. No disrespect to these very good boxers but I don't consider Baldomir and Judah as great, De La Hoya barely.

I consider Floyd's skills at par with the greatest though. The thing is, it hasn't been tested as much as I wanted it to be, and that is the one thing that annoys and puzzle me. If you have that much skills, wouldn't you want to flaunt it by kicking everybody's ass? Why is Floyd not doing that nowadays?

I will give Floyd tons of credit because I honestly don't think he can beat Shane. This will be the toughest fight of Floyds life.

If he beats Mosley, he will have ATG status.

I would give him a good amount of credit. Iam not a big Floyd fan, I respect his skills, just not his mouth. Shane is still a beast and if Floyd can pick him apart then iam going to be very impressed with it. Shane will have been inactive for a while too, but with Nazim in the corner you never know what can happen. It'll be a good fight that the fans deserve.

If Money beats Sugar then it's a good step forward in PBFs career. Mosley is strong, quick and tough...how many of these type fighters are on his resume.

I think if Floyd wants as much credit as Pacman received after the Cotto fight he either has to school Mosley, better than Wright did in their first fight or stop Mosley. This is a bad fight for Floyd, because if he wins a close decision (like he did against Oscar), people will say that even a past-his-prime Mosley caused problems so a prime Mosley would win. However, if Mayweather wins in a convincing fashion, people will say that Mosley is already past it, so that was predictable.

If Floyd wants to gain back p4p no. 1 position he needs two things:

    1. Totally outclass Mosley (around 118-110 or 120-108 UD or stoppage)
    AND
    2. Pac has to suffer against Clottey.

If Pac blows away Clottey and Mayweather runs his way for a close but clear UD, May wont get much credit. Although he would deserve IMO.

He'd certainly deserve some credit. Not a whole lot though when considering his all-time great standing. It's not like he would've beaten a prime Mosley.

I only got as far as the highlighted part then realised that you were just wasting my time by creating another hate thread, complete waste of time as usual on this general pacfuc forum :-(

Wouldn't everyone just say that Mosley was past it and/or rusty if Floyd blew him out of the water? This whole credit thing is ridiculous. Anyone can discredit any victory if they chose to. As long as guys are giving the fans fights that they want to see, I'm happy.
