I think Golden Boy are trying to get FMJ to fight Shane and he flat out doesnt want to. Its a matter of how much leverage they have over him. FMJ is at a crossroads: If he fights Shane (win or lose) he gets credibility. If he fights someone far inferior (Hatton) he loses all credibility. If he fights someone ok (Cintron) he stays about the same. The shame for FMJ is that he could have beaten Pac easier than Shane, who may well spoil the party. I give him real kudos if he beats Shane. Thats a big-time win worthy of his talent-level.

no way. Pac is faster, moves better, and throws straighter puncher than Mosley, among other things. Mosley doesn't react well to fighters who can box. both stylistically and in terms of ability, Pac is a harder oppoenent.

Just look at the Pacquiao/Mayweather negotiations, it was mostly Bob Arum and Pacquiao's team releasing public statements, not the other way around. Team Mayweather is very good about keeping things behind closed doors. Which is what you should do during contract negotiations.
