Again, show me an example of when they have done this?

You don't need a media frenzy during CONTRACT NEGOTIATIONS to sell a fight. That is what the various press conferences are for AFTER the contract is signed.

Media frenzies during contract negotiations can derail a business contract. It is best for all parties involved to keep things private.

Considering that Pacquiao actually beat Marquez (even controversially), a great boxer who was p4p a better fighter than Mosley is today, than I'd say he's shown he reacts better against boxers than Shane.

Add to that the other points that I listed but that you didn't respond to, and its pretty obvous that Pac is more of a stylistic problem for Floyd than Shane.

Which is exactly what I am saying, they may be under negotiations, but the fight is definitely not done, like some PBF nuthuggers are claiming.

This fight is not coming, better believe it.

What are you willing to bet? I'll bet you a month ban that this fight ends up happening.

There are also rumors coming out of the negotiations saying that they have already verbally agreed to the contract. They are probably having their respective legal teams review the contract and will make the announcement in the near future.

I'd say a prime DLH with height and reach over Mosley would qualify as a great boxer.

    And Shane beat him.

I'd have to watch the fight again but I don't remember ODLH boxing too much in that fight. If we're talking "boxer" as in defense first, sticking and moving, making your opponent compromise himself and pay for his mistakes... then I'd say JMM is a great fighter who is a great boxer while Oscar is a great fighter who is just a very good boxer but not a great one

add to that the other points that I mentioned but that you didn't reply to as to why Pac is a harder style matchup for Floyd than Mosely and it becomes very clear

Wow, so glad that you said it "for the record". I as well as all the other boxing fans out there had no idea that Mosley was more dangerous than Pac for floyd.

Thanks for clearing that one up.

I'm wrong often, so I have no problem admitting whenever it happens. But I bet I'm right when I say, Mayweather has no intention of fighting Mosely. I'm sure the fight will never happen.
I hope I'm wrong because I want to see these guys fight! But it is pretty obvious that Floyd was going to continue to make unreasonable demands on Paq until Manny balked. It was also made clear by Floyd after the Marquez fight he had no intention to fight Shane.
Seems a shame... the most talented fighter in the world today won't give us the fights we really want to see. I guess some would watch Floyd fight anyone, including gay wrestlers, and undersized no hopers.
But geeze, for all the talk about being an ATG, and being better than Ray Leonard, you'd think Floyd would just say "**** it" and throw down with Mosely, Williams, Paq (with out crazy stipulations) or Cotto, just to show how great he really is. Instead we are supposed to just believe he's the best because he says so.
When some where hoping for a fight with the then formidible Margarito was offered, Floyd chose DLH instead. When the buzz was for a Cotto fight, Floyd opted for Hatton. Now he's avoiding Paq and Mosely, and only God knows who Floyd'll fight instead. For sure it'll be someone from way out in left field.

Floyd has backed himself into a corner, and now has tons of pressure on him. Its either Mosley, or look like a fool. Anything less is unacceptable! Mosley has already said he has no problem undergoing random blood tests as long as Floyd has to do it as well. Lets see what kind've stunt Floyd pulls out of his hat now.

His "unreasonable demands" were not that unreasonable ask for 154 so you don't get a shitty catch weight. Ask for blood testing so you know your not fighting a cheater. I think 10 mill a pound is a lot more unreasonable but he agreed

Its not unreasonable at all. Just make the weight, and not try to pull a fast one like he did against Marquez.

A fighter can tell me that if I dont make the contracted weight, then I will have to fork over $50mil. There's an easy solution to that. MAKE THE WEIGHT!
