You know Floyd is a joke when...

Floyd Mayweather Jr. quite possibly may be on a collision course with Shane Mosley, a legitimate, sturdy, boxer-puncher whom just happens to be considered number 1 or 2 (depending on who you ask) in the very division "Money" campaigns in. What is the general consensus of the boxing world? I'll believe it when I see it.""I'll be shocked if he even signs!""How will Floyd ruin this negotiation?" Are these really statements that should be associated with a self-proclaimed (and many, many co-signers) ATG? That doesn't make sense to me. Boxing can't have fallen that far has it?

Everyone knows that Shane is literally dying for this fight. No way is he going to be at fault for this fight not taking place. I actually see him making quite a few concessions to get it done. Actually, even tho' Shane admitted to steroids I still like him :rasta.

Anyways, I suppose basically my point is Floyd is a joke and a fraud. The man is actually getting PRAISE for THINKING about fighting a legitimate threat. Last I heard, Floyd was a fighter (I know, I know... he's a "boxer"). Maybe he should start acting like one. The falling out of Pac-May really left a bad taste in my mouth. If this fight doesn't come off and Floyd fights Cintron, or anybody I'm through. Another poster had the quote of the day for me, I'm paraphrasing:" It took a mother****in' natural disaster for Floyd to even consider fighting Shane..." Priceless.

Floyd picking Shane as an opponent really does sound too good to be true.

 

I really can't see anyway he can avoid this fight, without actually admitting that he's afraid of him.

 

i lost a LOT of respect for floyd when the pac fight fell through but this, this could go a long way with most fans if it happens. floyd is full of **** when he says he only fights for money: if that were true he wouldn't break into tears every time he has to defend his legacy. he wants to prove himself eventually and shane is the best opportunity

it didnt take nothing for Floyd to make this fight, what happend in Hati is not what put this fight together, it was Manny Pacquiao who refused to test for illegal steriods, thats what put this fight together.
