This happens when different sources all try to get interviews with people not on the exact same page I guess.

Anyway, I am glad the talks are moving along. After Pac v Mayweather got fudged, we need this to close an old door.

 

I know you not one of these "haters" as i call em...ur arguments usually are backed up with good facts....i also don't think either ducked another...i use that argument with fans who keep saying floyd never wanted to fight mosley when in actuality it wasn't that at all..it was exactly what you said for the 1999 idea...they both had their careers going in different ways..i also dont think shane "ducked" floyd in 2006..but for the fans who say floyd ducked shane in 2009 it works both ways is all im saying...as for pacquiao i just don't see why u wouldnt take a test for 40 million...especially when u gonna have to test for HIV before the fight anyways using a needle..:good

 

I agree!:good IF Floyd takes the Mosley fight he can shut up a lot that doubt him Lance...IF he wins (big if as i know mosley is the hardest fight out there) than how good is Floyd...

I find floyd an interesting fighter because IF HE CAN DO WHAT HE SAYS HE CAN DO (WHICH IS ALOT) THAN WOW WE ARE SEEING SOMETHING SPECIAL IN THE SPORT THAT ONLY COMES AROUND EVERY 20 YEARS...

That is IF he can do what he says...he can prove that with victories over shane and pac...

I also admire his defense...I know he has not fought hard competition at 147 but he just faced a good fighter in a tune up and he is going after the #3 in the world..his actions in fighting the top 3 guys in the sport tell me he wants the best...

Given Floyd's position in boxing, most boxers around his division want to fight him. However, it is only possible to fight so many people. Floyd has called out Mosley and vice versa, and for a number of reasons it never got done. I don't believe either man is guilty of ducking whatsoever. Given that they've both wanted to fight each other for so long and never got it done, I expect these negotiations to come off without a hitch.

Mosley could have fought PBF when PBF first became a welterweight. Right after PBF fought his first PPV fight vs Gatti at 140. Everyone new he was moving up to 147 to challenge Mosley and DLH. Mosley instead of targeting Mayweather at 147 when Mayweather first moved up to WW. He instead choose to fight David Estrada, Jose Luis Cruz, and Vargas twice. Then avoided Mayweather again stating that he wanted a vacation.

Winky Wright went up to 160 to fight Trinidad in a bigger fight for Winky then cut weight to go down to 147 and fight Mayweather who wasn't as popular as Tito.
