Surely Pac could of accepted the 14 day cut off if he thought Mayweather was going to duck him anyway?

After all Roach did say at the beginning a 5 day window would be fine.

don't try to beat them with logic. everyone knows it's manny who ruined chances of the fight, except people who've jumped on the pacwagon in the past year and a half.

and then? brains are suppose to hold water to absorb shock of the blows of impacts and trauma. so kindly explain how steroids helped pacquiao with those body shots? you can do better than that to convince us, we are listening mr. expert.

how long did it take you to come up with that uneducated reply? steroids help the brain to retain water that would usually be lost because of the "shock and trauma" and physical endeavors of a boxing match. the brain's capacity remains larger than it would without the water lost, hence reducing the shock of a blow to the head.

He didn't say anywhere in that interview that Manny's chances are slim. I've actually heard him say many times that Manny would beat Floyd. He just recognizes that it won't be easy.

And Roach always speaks his mind. So if he said Manny would beat Floyd, he really believes it.

And he also said in that interview that he really wants the fight to happen. So anyone who thinks he doesn't just got shut down.

Cause like I said Roach always speaks his mind wether its good for his fighter or not. For example, it would have been better to say that Oscar was still sharp when Manny destroyed him, but Roach spoke his mind and said that Oscar was drained.

really? hadn't mayweather asked for that testing, the fight would have been signed, right? if team pac requested for something that caused the fight to be shelved then theyindeed sabotaged the fight. but its the other way around, so who now pussied out?

Pac's team also said that they wanted the fight to happen in March. So based on that quote, there's no way that Pac's team was the one that sabotaged that fight.

So if you wanna make conclusions based on quotes, then you should look at everything that was said, not just the things that fit into your agenda.

If Roach wanted to sabotage the fight, he would not have said that he only needed one week as a cutoff date for the tests. And if Pac wanted to sabotage the fight, he would not have proposed a 24 day cut-off date, since Floyd could easily have accepted that without Pac being able to do anything about it.

That's just basic logic. You don't have to dig too deep to realise this. On the other hand, saying that Roach thought Floyd was a hard fight therefore Pac's team tried to sabotage the fight is a logical fallacy. Its purely speculation and it doesn't hold up.

hmm.. wasnt pacquiao the one who requested the 10 mill overweight clause and 8 oz gloves? the only difference was that mayweather actually accepted these terms and himself requested an extra couple of ml's of blood up to 14 days before the fight that would have little or no effect.

he doesn't say slim to none but you gotta say those quotes sound a lot different then when he said "Mayweather is the easiest fight we could have." there's no doubt floyd is the overwhelming favorite and roach basically concedes it.

Maybe you understand it differently than I do. I do not see anything in there that Roach concedes anything but that it would be a hard fight needs a perfect game plan.

Roach blurted out Mayweather without hesitation after being asked who he wants Pac to fight next after the Cotto fight. That was pretty confident to me imo. But he is a trainer, so he has to develop the game plans as he knows Floydie picks and run which is very different from the other fighters he fought.
