For me it's gotta be Jermain Taylor. He suffered two knockout losses back to back, was forced to drop out of the Super Six and gets nothing but disrespect from his hometown. Did you remember how the people on his hometown radio were talking bad about him on the Taylor-Pavlik countdown? I wish the best for him. Holyfield is another. All he wants to do is retire 5-time champ but got robbed against Valuev:-(. I know they're boxers and I shouldn't feel sorry for them but I do.

Holyfield was the first guy I thought of.

49/55 ringside reporters scored for Valuev over Holyfield, including Ring.

    #1, Tapia.

Barrera probably still thinks he can get a belt. :verysad

Jameel McCline being involved in so many wars (or outright beatings) and having so little to show for it so late in his career bums me out.

I dont know why but I am utterly convinced JT has one more big win in him.

He was too good to go out like this

really i hate this sport whenever I see some up and coming youngster crowing over a defeated old timer, who at his peak was something special

Holyfield. Who would have thought after the ear biting incident that Tyson would be the first one that was rather content with his life and Holyfield would still be out trying to relieve the good ole days.

    1. RJJ (Should have retired after Ruiz)
    2. JLC (Really like this guy and sad to see his decline)
    3. Holyfield (No explanation needed)

    On a domestic note:

    4. Danny Williams (Such an up and down carrer surely should have hung them up along time ago)

Lionel Butler two weeks ago. This guy has been ripped off before and really had the wrong people around him and didn't treat himself with respect, and even though he got knocked out, he's still going to have to keep going to pay the bills. He looked like he was going to start sobbing after the fight and I wouldn't have blamed him. Far worse off than guys like Jermain who had his time on top of the world and has plenty of good things going for him outside of the ring.
