I think what was more astonishing, was that even though Mundine was dominating the fight before he got caught from that temple shot, the judges had him behind on the scorecards.

Impossible to win in Germany, knocking the guy out will get you a draw at most. No wonder Sturm's passport has been collecting dust for so many years.

I get angry any time I'm reminded about this farce.

It's hard to beleive an official could be so brazen in their corruption and, just as bad, nothing would be done about it.

The only heartening thing is that Ottke's name is mud in the boxing community and his only legacy is that of a fighter who relied on corrupt officials to steal victories. This, despite actually being a pretty good fighter.
