On another note, is the WBA turning into the new WBO

They have quite a few weak world champions...

There was valuev at heavy until recently, Khan/Kotelnik, senchenko at welter...kessler had god knows how many cans as mandatories...

Hatton vs katsidis hopefully, I think it will be the war he is looking for.

I'd love to see him fight Katsidis.

Im not sure its that winnable though, I reckon he would have to box a bit more then really go to work on the ropes or in the clinch. Katsidis is a relentless aggressor and if Hattons chin is weakened he can't afford to just stand and trade all round every round.

Katsidis chin aint exactly made of iron either, I think it's a very winnable fight for Ricky.

Katisidis is one warrior type macho guy - his war with Graham Earl lives in the memory !!!

I think Katsidis could walk Hatton down, none of them would take a backward step but I think Kats just edges it.

Sechecnko would be a cop-out and katsidis is nightmare fight for Hatton.

Because of his defeat to PBF last year, Juan manual Marquez is the one name that Joe public will recognise and therefore the most likely opponent for the fat boy.

It's not the strongest chin ever but it's certainly amongst the best in the World at the moment in my most humble opinion.

katsidis is often in wars and since he came to fight Earl only Earl and Casamayor have put him down. (If my memory serves me right)

He was down for about 0.6 seconds against Earl. Every fighter can be knocked down but its how quickly they get up which is the true test of punch resistance.

With Casamayor, in my opinion, Katsidis' niavity, when he had him beat earlier on in the fight, meant that he got tired trying to finish him off and was exhausted. Casmayor's ability lies in his accuracy which, after a while, will hurt.

would any of those 3 fights be for the pound-for-pound title?

If the Hattons want a win he better go back to fighting his usual level of opponents and steer clear of the good fighters.
