na mate, I love seeing Napa fight. He's probably one of the most skillful fighters we have in the UK. Enjoy the career while it lasts

 

so you think sky should start refusing to show good technical boxers in order to gain more viewers?

with the exception of the euro loss, i've found some of his recent fights pretty entertaining.

 

I love watching Napa fight aswell, great to watch imo.
Okay he doesn't have power but it's not like he's a runner either, infact it's quite the opposite. He's not afraid of a good war(as shown in the first Power fight), and if McDonnell gets into a tear up with him(which would be wrong tactics for him) we could get a very good scrap.

 

The Napa hating is getting silly on here now. What do people want him to do. He doesn't bang hard,He's fighting bigger men. He has more talent in his left bollock then most of the adored fighters on this forum.

Was the Ballone fight a bore...no...was the Davies fight a snoozefest..no. When he's fought Booth it's been one of the best technical domestic fights of the last decade on these shores.

The only boring fight he's had recently was down to his opponents negative tactics which sadly Ian failed to figure out. Tonight he will look to break up McDonnell and use his ''skills'' to win it's up to Mcdonnell to make the fight because most don't know how to get to Ian which means Ian just boxes with ease.

 

Sky ought to have a blacklist though.

:yep Yep i couldn't argue with that. But sadly i think we will have to endure more of his antics sadly. I'm actually looking forward to tonights fight.

I was speaking to someone who works for Maloney and he said all of the judges love Napa as a boxer and person. They say he's the best defensive fighter at the moment we have domestically. I think tonight we will see a good match but i think Napa will just have to much and pull away from round 5 onwards.

 

I think their policy of British, Commonwealth & European titles as a minimum is generally good, but it shouldn't be open to abuse.

They ought to have categories...... if you want to put on a fight such as Broadhurst vs Haskins, there needs to be something else to help. As it turned out, we got two Olympians on the bill, in the most embarrassing first round KO's I've ever seen, on the shittest FFN I've ever seen.

Sometimes a non-title fight can be better than one with a title. I'd sack the Commonwealth off as well.

Given that Sky are the sole TV company showing fights, they are in a position to make stronger than usual demands of the promoters. They ought to do so.

Last week's main event was a bit ****, but on the face of it, it seemed a decent fight, the first scrap between the pair was entertaining, so no blame can be attached.

Fighters that are boring time after time (such as Haskins) ought to be canned. Napa is rarely in a **** fight, despite all of them going the distance.

 

Hopefully Napa gets hammered into retirement. Always in **** fights.

 

Napa has great technique but he is a posing twat. Loved the fight against Bouziane.

 

I'd kindly disagree, I look forward to Napa. Makes a change from the usual skill-less brawling we see - Smith/Quigley, Haskins/Broadhurst etc.

 

Yep. But a fight is still **** even if one of the guys has a little skill.

 

no napas a snooze fest and i love seing boxers actully "box" but hes a little bit like anthony smalls (dont bash me yet hear me out)

hes all look good throwing the jab and keeping his chin tucked in but his jab has no snap , and i feel hes almost o timid to throw a straight right with any kind of authority

just like small hes all about looking flash/good/incontroll without actully putting in the work

id prefer to watch the popus dick anthny rather than ian "not so dapa" napa
