It's been rumored that Nazeem has Mosley doing special speed/cardio training by chasing wild weasels in the thin mountain air of Big Bear.

In other words, I agree that he will definitely have to outwork Mayweather to win. Mosley has the work-ethic , I believe he will be in the shape of his life.

I also wonder if Mayweather has enough power to discourage Mosley.

This is shaping up to be a really interesting fight.

I don't think Mosley can beat Floyd either, but I think Mosley is a better boxer with Nazim Richardson in his corner.

mosley has to fight him a little like he fought margo, except with alot more rough housing, bernard hopkins style, headbutt him, hit him on the hips just get him out of his game and bully him, he needs to hold after each combination.

The problem with that is that PBF is a better inside fighter than Mosley is and more crafty.

Not sure about that. This is not Gatti here...this is Mosley who is also very fast. Of course Mayweather will counter. But trying to counter fast combination (4 to 5 punches) will significantly drop you success rate. Some will get in. ANd we know Mosley's hit are full of intentions...

    No easy task for sure.

But can someone name one Floyd's previous opponent who fight like Shane?
This is why this fight is interesting.

But like i said before...still picking PBF by UD.

True. That mofo knows the inside stuff very well. Uses them elbows a lot too...

Hate to tell you this man but Floyd Mayweather is a 32 year old saavy veteran these tactics won't work to fustrate he'll just wait for the right time to get Shane back.

Another thing, i've never seen Floyd Mayweather fustrated in the ring or argue with his corner about his ability I have seen Shane on numerous occasions that's going to be a big factor if this fight comes off. Shane Mosley is easily fustrated in his fights ask Winky.

The biggest reason why no one in boxing is even entertaining the idea of a 3rd Pac/JMM fight, is that Marquez would get KO'd within 3 rounds. Pac is that much better at this point in his career. Most people seem to be under the impression that Pac has been overwhelming his opponents with Power...not the case. He has brutally beaten his last 3 opponents with speed and boxing. He turns his opponents effectively after he punches them. He is impossible to time now.

Can't compare the pre-DLH Pac to the post-DLH Pac. Biggest mistake most seem to make when trying to analyze a pac fight these days.

floyd is a veteran, but so is mosley, they both have high level of boxing iq but use it differently, we'll have to wait and see....

I hope i am wrong. I think that there is a high possibility that mayweather will make mosley look old. After the mayorga fight i honestly thought mosley should retire and had serious concerns for his health going into the margarito fight.

Then coupled with the brilliant nazeem richardsons gameplan, the bricks in the gloves incident, the fact that cotto (even though he lost) took a lot out of margarito previously, these conspired to make mosleys performance one for the ages.

It will have been 16 months since mosley has fought last. Mayweather is the opposite in every way to margarito. Mosley has to land power shots very early in the fight, and turn it into a brawl. At 38 this mosley is not out-jabbing or a winning technical boxing contest against the brilliant mayweather. He needs to find a way to impose himself early and hopefully control the tempo.

I hope mosley does the improbable and catches mayweather with a bodyshot early to shake up that defense.

I can not wait for this fight :bbb

Shane throws wild shots 4 or 5 yeah but what happens to him when he miss 2 and 3 he gets hit with 2 he didn't see and 2 more after that Floyd will not let Shane outwork him I'm willing to bet the house on it.

    And
