Now I have come across this big big error from BET365.COM.

The fight between Alexander and Urango on March 7th 2008, now on this site Alexander is 1/4 to win the fight which I think he does on a point decision now if youre with me and you think he will win this fight by points, this is where you make your money.


On the bet365 site they have got two odds for Alexander to win on points or by technical decision the correct one which is 1/2 we dont want to tocuh that but if you go half way up the page THEY HAVE THE ODDS OF 5/1 for Alexander to win on points i just had £30 on it at 5/1, not saying this is a cert as Urango is dangerous but when the odds should be 1/2 and your getting 5/1 is what i call a late christmas present.

go to the bet365.com page then boxing then Alexander Urango there is a +4 thing on the rite meaning 4 other bets available go into that and you will see half way down the page 5/1 for Alexander.........

 

Would they ? But surely if they have agreed to the bet at them odds they have to pay?? Im not sure on the rule.

 

Just spoke to a an advisor online at bet365 and they said the odds I got are correct and now the bet has placed it stands aslong as the fight takes place :good

Also with them odds you could back Urango to win and Alexander to win by ko and still make a profit so basically you cant loose :yep.

 

No maye go further down the page it's 5/1 for the decision, now like I said you can make a profit by backing all outcomes possible but if you want to be greedy you can just back Alexander to win on points which is the most likely outcome.

The odds on there now are:

5/1 Alex to win on points
5/1 Alex to win by KO/TKO
11/4 Urango to win

So you have covered every possible outcome bar the draw. So for instance if you put 50 quid on Alex win by ko/tko, 100 quid on him by Points and 80 quid on Urango to win.

The worst you will do is win 70 quid the best you will do is win 370 quid. thats what i have now done so im hoping for Alex by points to win 370 but if urango wins i will win 70 quid if Alex wins by ko i will win 70 quid, so i win unless its a draw.

 

You can make the Urango bet the bigger one to maxmise profit works which ever way you want it to :good.

 

I dont think you understand mate, you cant loose unless it is a draw. Bet365 have prices Alexander up at 5/1 to win on points when it should be 1/2 on so you can back all outcomes except the draw and you cant loose. I dont think there is a better bet than one you cant loose :yep.
