    Here's mine

    1. Salvador Sanchez
    2. Oscar De La Hoya
    3. Julio Cesar Chavez
    4. Marco Antonio Barrera
    5. Erik Morales

I agree with the TS's comments on JCC as controversial as it is and feel there is a generational remove that those like myself who were not around to see Chavez as god do not see it now.

I agree with you although Salvador Sanchez did not stay long on the scene, he had the potential to be the greatest.

He has a hell of a resume for someone who was 23 years old too.

Thanks Eliqueiros, I really do appreciate that. And by no means am I trying to put down JCC or anything. I may have been biased since I did not really see much of JCC or the others of the past, but how far could MAB and EM be from the top? They were definitely the greatest boxers of Mexican ancestry in the last 12 to 15 years along with Juan Manuel Marquez, Oscar De La Hoya, and that other lower weight dude (Ricardo Lopez?).

perhaps but i'm rating him a large part based on his ability as one of the most perfect fighters i've ever seen. resume is lacking but he was a phenom to watch. #2 may be high but it's tough not to put him in the top 5
