Regarding the breakdown of negotiations between Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao: “I just think Floyd was looking for an out, I don’t think Floyd really wanted the fight. I mean I’m not saying he was scared of him or nothing, I’m just saying something he saw maybe intimidated him, maybe he didn’t like it, I don’t know. I feel like that was a way for him to get out of the fight because he initiated it. Pacquiao was the reactionary and the reactionary is never at fault.” On whether he believes Floyd will step up and fight Sugar Shane Mosley: “Floyd will never fight Shane Mosley. He will never fight Shane Mosley. I think he knows as well as anybody else, I don’t think that’s the right fight for him. No disrespect to Floyd, but while we are on the subject, if you’re going to call yourself the best fighter in the world you should at least fight a fighter that has a chance of beating you and I don’t think he’s ever done that.” On who he thinks would win if Pacquiao and Mayweather did eventually fight sometime in 2010: “I think Floyd is the better fighter, but the question is not if but when Manny Pacquiao hits him—and he probably will hit Floyd a lot even though Floyd is a great defensive fighter—how is going to react? I think the questions would have to be answered on Mayweather’s end, not Pacquiao’s.”
Who? This guy is a bitter nobody....a decent fighter I thought he had promise...he didn't get invited to the tournament for a reason...who the hell is he??
That's funny because I don't remember Allan Green ever fighting real opposition, even when he had the chance.
Malignagi talks bad about Pac-and the *****s say hes the man and hes telling it like it is , he has a right to his opinion etc. Green does something similar with Fraud and hes a nobody, hes a fool etc. Dumbest group of fans by a country mile.
So Allen thinks that Floyd is the better fighter, but is intimidated by Pac? That's completely idiotic. Anyway, if Floyd really wanted a way out of the fight, then why did he accept the $10 mill per lb. penalty? That's 10 times more than any weight penalty ever instituted. Why not just turn that down if he didn't want to fight? Why did he agree to lower the testing threshold from 1 or 2 days back to 14 days?(remember Roach claimed they would do it if they had a 7 day window). Amazing, Floyd agrees to Pac's unprecidented demand without hesitation, gives Team Pac the testing window they asked for(with a week to spare) and then he gets accused of trying to duck out of the fight. The blood testing was there from the get go. Roach is on tape saying they welcomed any testing. Team Pac changed their minds about the testing weeks after it was suggested, and also lied about what happened during negotiations. So who was looking for a way out?
Green was sick in that fight. You fight someone coming off a colon procedure and see how well you perform.
green was staring at his feet during this entire interview....and tha colon procedure was to dislodge greg leons head from his ass
Why do some people believe that Floyd has a bad chin? He's taken solid shots from Castillo all the way to Oscar and he's never been badly hurt. When he was stunned twice vs Corley he came right back @ him when he had his head together. He has a great chin IMO. Do people forget when Mayweather-Castillo when Floyd with one arm was forced to stand in the pocket and trade with Castillo on the inside in the late rounds? Too many people underestimate his toughness and grit when in the ring.
