Has nothing to do with Cotto, then again looking at your avatar I bet you think Clottey is a good fight for Manny, no not mad at all about the Cotto fight, I am upset that the man has been using steroids to win these fights and when called on it, when asked to be subjected to olympic style testing he decided to throw away the biggest purse in the history of the sport at these lower weight classes, who does that? a guilty man or a complete ****ing ******.... Then again look who is the one in his camp that often advises him....
Good... i didnt want one. But can we at least bring back some countdowns? what the hell.... Sometimes a nice short and sweet countdown is better then these long and drawn out 24/7's.... Only the blockbuster superfights (Mayweather/Pac, Mayweather/Hoya, Pac/hatton, Pac/Cotto, Pac/hatton) types should get these 24/7's... but i still love the countdowns and wish they would bring them back....
i'm sure it does, but can you provide any evidence of how many? Top Rank didn't think enough apparently. They foot the bill, the production costs, etc...for 24/7.
Yeah right...no because they're pretty boring now. I prefer the countdown specials because they tell us all we need to know about the fight. It's enough to get us excited but not too much to make us sick of the fighters. It's overkill. BTW...most people on this forum realize that I'm pretty middle of the road, FYI.:good
I heard 24/7 cost about 1mil per episode. That would only be 80k ppv buys...Arum doesnt think 24/7 will generate an extra 80k buys?
