Who cares who started them...People are now questioning Manny's honesty because of the denial of the olympic style test...You dont need proof to ask for more strict testing if you feel somebody is on something.atsch

 

The request came at the very beginning of negotiations and I believe Arum agreed to it in principle, the same time as the $10 million for every lb over weight Mayweather came in was put forward and quickly agreed, I didn't say he was doing it for the good of boxing either.

As for why he wants it now, I don't know for certain but I wouldn't be surprised if he suspected Pac was using PED's over the speed of his rise from Marquez to Cotto in just over 18 months, if he has any doubts then I don't see what is wrong in asking for the fight to be extensively tested due to the magnitude of the fight.

Pac should have taken the request as a compliment that people can't believe what he has achieved in such a short space of time, instead his team have lied, put out contradicting stories and have made themselves look suspect in the process.

 

That's not fair. We've got to show some respect to the Mayweather Pugilism Puritans. After all, they ARE America. They crossed the Atlantic & landed @ Plymouth Grand Rapids Michigan Rock only seeking refuge from persecution for their boxing beliefs; beliefs that include:
