    Typical Floydettes.

Shane is too big a risk for Floyd, expect Campbell or someone else to pop up within a week or two.

This fight is probably already signed and finished. It won't be announced until probably sometime during the week. Dana White is not going to move his PPV to avoid going head to head with a boxing match unless he has rock solid evidence that a big fight is indeed taking place that day.

the moment Berto announced his pull-out, i knew this fight was signed.

Or else it just wouldn't make sense.

Probably Team Mayweather made it look hopeful for Shane, thus Al Haymon got Berto to pull out. And expect the next move to be some bizarre negotiation clause and Floyd to "move on to another fight", a fill in date in May in preparation for Pacquiao.

Haymon makes the decisions for Floyd and Berto. He would not have gotten Berto to pull out of his fight with Shane unless he had a plan. He could have just asked for Berto vs Shane to be postponed.

    The excuses have already started:

"Oh, he's too old" "He's been out for too long" "He's shot" ETC

I hope this fight does get made Jimmie, it has the potential to be a good fight and it has been one I have wanted to see ever Floyd beat JMM! But such is my current faith in boxing that i'll only believe that Floyd and Shane are fighting each other when the two of them are in the same ring on the same evening!

Would it be correct to assume that as Shane is an admitted steroid user that Floyd will insist on the most stringent pre/post fight testing possible?
