Breaking news!! Cintron-williams and berto malignaggi april 10th!!!

I see Paulie frustrating Berto for the UD.
I favor Cintron, but he has to come hard at the fight and not let William's punch rate mess up his flow.

I much rather see Williams give Martinez his rematch, and Berto give Collazo his rematch, two guys who won fights, but were awarded a L to their record.

 

I agree, but i was talking about Zab.

We can agree to disagree here, what has Maligaggi done? he just beat a smaller fighter who was just KTFO by Marquez, not to mention he fought him above his best weight class, at least Zab has been proven at that weight to be a threat against ANYONE at WW, Zab is a MUCH better fighter than Maligaggi, he's bigger, stronger, faster, bigger puncher than him.:good

 

The one thing we can all admit as boxing fans is that Paul Williams fights boxers that are relevant!!

It seems now-a-days guys are fighting boxers that you will not even remember!

If your not a KP fan or true MW division fan you may not even know more than 3 guys that Kelly Pavlik has fought or even remember their names!

 

Name me at least one fighter that Williams has fought that is better than Hopkins or Taylor.

 

He was fighting top guys but I think Hopkins made a new man out of Pavlik.

 

Pleeease. Cintron is a decent fight but it doesn't exactly take balls of steel. PPV Should be called "Martinez' victims"

 

Please Cintorn is atleast better than the last three guy's Pavlk has fought. I mean the guy canceled the fight with Williams than fought Miguel Espino two weeks after the date they were supposed to fight.

 

I'm not a Pavlik fan by any means but not a hater either. Pavlik had a bad hand, and he fought a Espino to make sure he was in good condition. They weren't 100% sure they were gonna be ready to fight Williams, so Williams couldn't wait around and picked Martinez, nothing wrong with that either.

I agree. With the all the great fights out there against Cintron, Williams, Collazo, Quintana etc he manages to pick a light-welter with non-existent power to fight. If Mayweather fights Mosley then Berto wins the title of biggest cherry-picking ducker in boxing. Berto's shaky chin will get exposed before long if he fights real competition and I think his team knows this.

Very disappointing news, not exciting fights but ahwell. Im picking both Berto and Williams by stoppage if these fights become official.

 

The sad thing is that if Jermaine Taylor had paced himself properly in his first fight with KP then we would not even know who Pavlik is right now! Lol!

The only reason why Pavlik is even relevant today is because he has those MW belts! I guess when you defend your titles against C and D level opponents in the last 3 years is easy to stay relevant! Lol!

 

He may very well have the attention and the sympathy of the people, but with no relevant welter available to fight him in his immediate future it becomes at moot point.

His best option is to fight anybody with a decent name to once again position himself to attaining a big money fight.
