I don't think it is fair to put Calzaghe above Lennox Lewis and Larry Holmes etc.

They invented P4P as an excuse for smaller fighters.

Without that excuse maybe Calzaghe can still break into the top 10 fighters of all time.

Ten best ever boxers - H2H, not P4P

    1. Lewis
    2. Holmes
    3. Foreman
    4. Wlad
    5. Vitali
    6. McCall
    7. Ali
    8. Holyfield
    9. Tyson
    10. Calzaghe?

Although H2H maybe Calzaghe can beat Holyfield and ALi, neither were that massive and nor was they ever concussive punchers.

Holyfield and Ali have to go above Joe though as they stand up to the other HWs (Tyson, Lewis etc..) better than Joe ever could.

Could Calzaghe outbox Tua, or would he be over powered?

I'm thinking Tua's footwork is too slow and his left hook is too telegraphed.

Fraizer and David Haye also have a chance of landing a KO blow, I think I would have Calzaghe something between a 5/8 and 10/13 on favourite against either of them though.

    he won the fight.

biggest load of nonsense that comment.

    all 3 judges.

plus british and american tv all had him winning.

and say what u want but they always score fights fairly.

HBO even had de la hoya losing an early fight (molina).

agree that calzaghe was a much better fighter than rick.

That sounds like the old report on Hattons comeback fight , Senchenko's name was being branded about 4 months ago , its gonna be @140 and he's said either a P4P top fighter or a world champion .

I seen Ricky at star city casino here in Sydney. And let me tell you other then hardcore fightfans such as myself no1 would recognise him..

He looks like a fat 45year old pie eater from northern england..I think he has let himself go past the point of return.Very dissapointing.

Who on earth is this Senchenko dude? Good ol Hatton always true to form!

And he wont get past JMM. Actually i hope he does as seeing him get smashed against Katisidis should be pretty amusing. I see he always stays true and form and picks on lightweights and non descript Welterweight champs no ones ever heard of.

    Typical.

You and Betty are pathetic when it comes to Hatton.

The guy has been out for how long? Got smashed in his last fight and you still cant give the guy a break:-(

So Hatton fighting the Ukranian is a **** fight for you, yet it was okay for lets say Witter to fight Victor Castro who was 29-4 going in and is 0-2 since?

    Double standards fella.
