It's all about opinions and mine is that you didn't give enough credit to Haye's work. Another opinion is that you're not a bad noob :good Welcome aboard.
Yeah fair enough - we all read fights diiferently. At least Haye wasnt shafted - because I feel he did deserve to win.
Drawing comparisons between Haye - Valuev and Froch - Dirrell helped me make a decision about both of those fights. My way of looking at it is that if you're going to be on the backfoot you have to clearly out punch the man coming forward, who should always be rewarded for attempting to make a fight of it. With Froch/Dirrell - Dirrell did not clearly out land Froch, in other words when he was on the back foot it looked like he was on the retreat and not executing a plan. David Haye so clearly outlanded Valuev that it looked like a gameplan and not retreating. I don't remember Valuev landing one punch.
I would imagine George Groves will feature... it dont matter who else will be on... Haye will bang out the M.E.N no problem...:yep
Awesome, I live up north so Manchester is much better than london for me. Personally I think Manchester is a better place to have the fight anyway.
Indeed, Ruiz has made it an art, to spoil, hang and clinch... So it could be a tough fight for the unexperienced Haye. I guess it all depends on what the ref lets him get away with, if it's a louzy ref I can actually see Ruiz win a close maybe controversial decision...
I think Haye's speed, power and intelligence will nullify whatever Ruiz brings. Ruiz is experienced, but he's experienced at losing. And he lost to guys significantly worse than Haye. David will come with a well set gameplan, and smash the **** out of Ruiz. He's bigger, stronger, faster, smarter and more motivated than Ruiz. He's a legit HW, and ain't exactly small, but I can't see Ruiz making it to the 2nd half of the fight. i reckon he gets dropped in the first round, shells up and loses confidence for a few rounds, then Haye closes the show.
Ruiz is a durable foe with a good pedigree and some good wins on his CV such as Rahman, Holyfield, Johnson and Golata plus some close defeats against good opponents like Valuev, Chagaev and Tua. I fully expect Haye to win and add another good name to his own CV.
