I think you may be right here...im not so sure about Dana White, and UFC though...I havn't heard too much info on that.
But, I think both camps may have already come to an agreement, and possibly already signed for the bout on May 1st. The reason the bout hasn't been announced yet, in my opinion, is because they want to try and steal the spot light from the Clottey Pacquiao bout. The later they leave the announcement, the more chance they have of doing just that. And the proposed bout is on May 1st, a full month and a half after Clottey Pacquiao, so whats the rush?...

Damn I hope the fight with Moseley gets made. There really isn't anyone out there for Floyd to fight that would be appealing. Really the only other appealing fight besides Moseley is the punisher, but everyone knows that when someone brings up Paul Williams name he suddenly goes deaf

Seriously, you are listing 2 guys he hasnt fought yet on his resume in Mosley and Pacquiao. Judah had just lost to Baldomir and had somehow kept a sham of a title. Then you have Gatti. There were better choices out there at 140. That punches holes in 4 of the 7 guys at least to me.

I was listing fights that he pursued.

In case you missed it, here was the post I was responding to:

He was criticizing Floyd's choice of opponents. Well he chose and pursued Pac and Pac ran the other direction. Now he is pursuing a fight with Mosley. Try to keep up.

That Judah lost his tune up does not change the fact that he was in the upper echelon of WWs when the fight was made, and the follow up with Baldomir just to erase any doubt was the right thing to do and a stand-up move. He could have said that Baldo was beneath him but Floyd chose to beat the man that beat the man. If Floyd was so duck-happy, why didn't he duck that fight? Not to mention that Baldo weighed 160+ the night of that fight. No duck there. But Floyd gets no credit for that. You question Gatti? Gatti was a blood and guts warrior and a world champion? Who should Floyd have fought at 140 instead? Hatton? You know that turned out and Hatton was undefeated and on top of the world at the time, unlike the shot Hatton that Pacquiao faced. Floyd destroyed Gatti and took his belt. Pacquiao likes to go belt shopping too. But who is tougher? Gatti or Pac's Diaz?

it was hatton-pac and it didn't steal the thunder...pacquiaos murderous left hand did...it just hyped the hatton-pac fight even more cuz it put floyd back in the picture thus making more drama in everything..i mean there is more threads about floyd than any other fighter on esb...hmmmmm....
