haha good shout Sayers - Dempsey over Wlad was going to be my next one (Vlad hasn't even got a linear claim has he?? Vit has the closer linear claim doesn't he?? and the better chance??) This is one of those stonewall certainty ones for me - can't ever get Vlad vs Corrie Sanders out of my mind I'm afraid - that for me left an indelible mark on Vlad - i know some might say he was a bit green but I think he was better then - he's been fighting scared ever since - unfortunately you can't train a good chin and you don't develop one over the course of 6 or so years - Dempsey could smell fear and vulnerability and would be on him like a pit bull - things look really bad for Klit in this one:blackeye- hopefully the ref doesn't let it keep going on like the Willard fight (that's if Klit gets up from the first knockdown?)

Yeah, like i said he mixes qualities of Norton and Frazier, that awkwardness and relentness, to be brief. Good post.

Match 1: Bob Fitzsimmons vs Lennox Lewis - What better fight is there? The greatest Super small heavyweight ever meeting the greatest Large SuperHeavyweight.

Win lose or draw, i am certain that prime Fitz would make a fight of it with Lennox and even if he did lose, it would not be the one round blow out people expect. Anything more than 5 rounds would be a stunning success for the early boys and to be honest, Fitz has as much chance against Louis as he does against any superheavyweight. i can see Lennox getting overconfident and getting sparked the exact same way as he has previously in his career.

    Match 2:
Jack Johnson vs Tommy Morrison - Tommy is held in high regard and seen as a modern big hitter and the best white fighter for a while. He isnt in the same league as Johnson. I think this is the safest money bet to see a big name modern Great White Hope take the same road as those of Jack's time. Johnson makes him look the fool. A no risk fight, where i simply dont give Tommy a chance.

    Match 3:
Jim Corbett vs Old George Foreman - Old George Foreman was considered a modern superheavy, but he was quite honestly and simply too slow and old for Prime Corbett. Corbett would hit him so hard and often, he either stops him or wins every round. Even if he does run into one like Moorer (very unlikely) it is nothing that Jeffries or Fitz didnt do anyway. Corbett has a real old style, but he is a real lot better than given credit.

Fred Fulton vs Chris Areolla - I was tempted to give Willard a shot at Vitali, but this is a better fight. Fulton will win the fight and be equally as dominant as vitali was. With the fight, people start to realise the quality of several other great fighters, and because of the class difference, there is no chance of a mismatch, and even if there is, it can be writtne off since Fulton was kod in his own time.

    Match 5:
James J Jeffries vs Riddick Bowe - I was going to sign a Jeffries Tyson fight here, which would have been high risk, since Tyson is capable of pulling a KO1 over anyone, which might be too big a risk. Instead, i have gone with Riddick bowe, who would prevent a stationery Target for Jeffries. If Jeffries lands a left hook as often as Holy did in the first fight, we are seeing an early night.

Well one or the other of us would end up looking rather silly in the aftermath of those matches.

Personaly I think that you would get about two of them right.

    Max Baer vs Wladimir Klitschko

Alexis Arguello vs Floyd Mayweather at 130

Bob Fitzsimmons vs Edison Miranda (to
get a gauge on 'where he's at,
give him someone who we can gauge him against who's going to allow Fitz to operate, and at super-middle too, which is where prime Fitz would probably be today, either side could effectively 'prove their point' here)
