yes imo, he could if pac has struggled to beat clottey while floyd looked good demolishing mosley. otherwise, pac could remain as the p4p king until floyd beats him or pac loses.

this is like when then when floyd was the p4p king and pac (#2) and jmm (#3) fought it out after floyd looked good stopping hatton just a few months earlier.

P4P is mythical, some will have Mayweather no1, some will have Pacman no1, some how Pacquaio managed to get his P4P ranking just after he arguably lost in most fans eyes, Mayweather is the better boxer of the 2 regardless

If Pac wins as well, then no. Floyd may have the better next opponent of the two (if it's made), but Pac has still been fighting the better guys.

seriously though, i don't think Mayweather will fight Mosely. Said it before. i would actually favor him over mosely, although i would be rooting for shane. Mayweather just WILL NOT take a risk.
