I have heard some of the kraziest things on this site. How could you call yourself a knowledgeable boxing fan and not know Pac vs DLH was at a catchweight. 1. The welterweight Limit is 147 2. The fight was fought at 145 3. If a fight is not fought at an official limit. It is then considered a catch weight fight 4. I dont care what Pac said he weighed when he went back to his dressing room and got on his walmart scale 5. DLH Was not getting down in weight to fight Floyd kus he fought floyd at 154 6. DLH got what he deserved kus he was ducking Margorito to fight the smaller man and could of went out with a bang kus he could of been the one who caught the cheater and then knocked him out and for surely went out as te greatest Mexican fighter of all times. Kus Only black and white people consider him the best mexican fighter. The mexicans dont!!! 7. Go to Boxrec.com. Its official 145
That verison of DLH could barley throw a punch to say he could have stopped Margarito at that time makes you look like an ass.
it was signed at 147 moron, DLH just weighed in 2lbs under the limit... get your information correct before you go on here again bantering mindless bull****
Where do these stupid idiots come from. First thing is the fight was for 147 lbs. Second, no one makes DLH do something he doesn't want in the negotiation. DLH wanted this fight you stupid idiots. The fight at 147 was DLH's call.
But the 147 limit was draining Oscar. He hadnt fought there in years and was obviously weight drained. Then he only gained 2 lbs over night yeah he was not in top form at 154 or maybe even 150 and then rehydrating 10 lbs over night he would have gave Pacman all kinds of trouble maybe even won
That's not what Oscar said. He said he had no problem making weight and felt great. Take it up with oscar, not us. He is the one who wanted 147.
Christ. Pac went up 2 weights to meet Oscar 1 weight down. Who took the greater risk in moving weights? This is a seperate issue from Oscars bone headed weight management. Yall might also question where the **** his trainer was while he was ruining his weight leading up to the fight.
This ****er doesn't know how Boxrec works. The weights you see under the "LB" columns are the official weight that the fighters weighed in at.
