Idiot. Most people fail to mention that De La Hoya's fight before Pacquiao with Forbes was at 150 pounds.

in what context you say it? in the context of justifying a JMM-Floyd catchweight, and a possible Cotto-Floyd catchweight of 145, and you were also talking something about a 140-pound bout for pac-floyd like you actually believe floyd is that small lol

After the Cotto-Margarito fight one of the Top Rank broadcasters asked Oscar if he would like to fight Margarito and Oscar gave him a flat and unambiguous "NO"

I'd never before that heard Oscar say on the record that he was not willing to fight another fighter. Well besides a young Vargas for the disrespect El Feroz was giving him, but that was for entirely different reasons.

He was never going to fight a Cotto or Margo. Oscar was seeking fights with popular smaller guys Hatton and Pac and a Mayweather rematch (with Forbes as a tuneup) at the time.

I thought Margo was tailor made for Oscar, but looking back the DLH who couldn't put Forbes away would most likely have been stopped by Margo after a severe beating.

The fight was set at 147 but for whatever reason, ODLH came to the weigh in at 145.

I remember that three weeks into the fight, Oscar was already tipping the scales below 147 and he even boasted that he was doing very well in training.

I can't agree to this considering that Oscar had already tipped the scales at 145 three weeks in to the fight. If it meant anything, it didn't suggest that Oscar had a hard time moving down.

How could you call yourself a knowledgeable boxing fan and not know Pac vs DLH was not a catchweight?

    Another new Floydette!!!

Don't worry because you are very much welcome by the floydettes. Infact, you just increased the general IQ of the foydettes by 20 points.

Although your post is idiotic, moronic and imbecilic, you would be amazed that what you posted is way better than what some floydettes here could do.

Welcome to ESB floydette! May your kind multiply further because you seem to gravitate towards each other, sort of chickens (or ducks) of the same feather flock or cuddle together.

By the way, the emoticon :hi::hi: of Mooseknuckle is a way of wlecoming you to their club. He just does not know how to express his feelings using emoticons somehow.
