Buy the book on Amazon. Very inexpensive and then you will have the routines of loads of fighters in addition to Chris.

theres no way that those routines are the fighters just a quick overview from some quick fire questions, this writer didnt go into their camps or nothing

Basically they all run miles early and do floorwork, followed by between 5 to 10 rds shadow and heavy bag then build sparring before the fight, dont buy it its not worth it !!!!!

As if they're doing the same routing throughout their careers. It would be much more interesting so see how an average training camp develops while preparing for a major fight.

    Exactly

Theres a few unique things like Kostya tennis ball thing and hattons bar jumping but absoloutly nothing you havent seen in any 2 min training clip.

But I give the guy credit he took a little info and no doubt sold a hell of a lot of books to boxing fans it SEEMS like the dream book.

I fell for it years ago too.

    I enjoyed the book.

The reality is that the world champion fighters profiled in the book do train this way. Why would they make up routines they don't actually do?

The reason the routines are similar is that this is how world class fighters train, because it works.

I know, some of the advocates of scientific training would like to see different approachs, but the methods outlined by the champions in the Gary Todds book are the rountines used by those fighters and most top fighters today.

Bar- Bag, a waist high bar is put up next to the bag. You leap frog over the bar for a minute, then box on the bag for a minute. Its very challenging. Uses a lot of the same muscles you would do for boxing to traverse the bar. I used to do this exercise religiously before my fights- one problem. Its mind numbingly boring. Try doing six three's and you'll be pretty ****ed.

Its a staple for most north west gyms now.
